I watched a program on c-span this morning about blogging. The two guests were a young woman who had graduated from Harvard and was an editor of a left leaning magazine and another young woman graduate of Catholic University who is an editor for the National Review. They talked about how popular blogging has become, how ordinary people can discuss politics with others all over the world. They compared it with journalism. They mentioned a time when a mistake made on a blog was corrected in 600 comments within seconds. They said that the great majority of bloggers were men and wondered how more women could be motivated to participate. All of a sudden it struck me as hilarious that I am one of the few, the precious few, along with these two well educated young women, of the women bloggers of the world. My son, Matt, assures me that it's all right though for me to blog about my nature sightings and such. He is the founder and the designer of my blog. Some people think that marrying early and having a bunch of babies is stultifying. I say no. Those babies grow up and take you down many paths. Matt has me out here on the cutting edge.

So when do we get to hear your political views? Haha...
You should also make a habit of pressing save as draft often as you're typing (from our conversation earlier).
